Call for participants for EuroMed Training course "Volunteering in Euro Med, a mainstay for local development" Venue: Nabeul, Tunisia Arrival day: 13/11/2015 Departure day: 22/11/2015 Presentation of the training: ASAE and its partners wish to organize a EuroMed Training Course in Nabeul Tunisia from 14 to 21st of November 2015 , for 24 youth workers, EVS coordinators, mentors, supervisors and EVS project managers from Europeans and Meda countries, in order to enable participants to discover the volunteering reality in each partner country, exchange experiences and good practices between them, and offer them the opportunity to improve their skills in term of quality of EVS projects. During this training, they will share their experiences with experts in EVS, they will share their opinions about the topic with decision makers & they will have deep reflections about different topics related to the volunteering and local development. Participants will draw together a long term strategy of cooperation for exchanging sending and hosting youth volunteers . They will also create an educational tool about innovative methods to carry EVS activities (Conception, preparation, implementation, Follow up & evaluation). This tool will be useful also for the new promoters from Euro Med area to improve their skills in EVS project management. Objectif principal de la formation: - Through this training we wish to Enable participants to develop their vision on volunteering in the Euro-Mediterranean area as a basic way of youth engagement in local development, to improve their competence in terms of EVS projects management and to build sustainable strategy of cooperation in terms of youth volunteering. Estimated results: - Developing the skills of participants in terms of EVS projects management. - Creating an educational tool that can help promoters of EVS projects, mentors, supervisors of EVS volunteers to implement good quality of voluntary activities and to provide agood support to their youth volunteers. - Develop a strategy for future cooperation between the partners in terms of youth volunteering. Partner's countries and number of participants : ASAE (Tunisia): 4 participants Solidarity Tracks (Greece):4 participants (trainer included) ATA (Romania): 4 participants (trainer included) Egypt (4 participants) Jordan (4 participants) France (4 participants) Participant's profile: EVS project's coordinators, EVS supervisors mentors, youth workers. - We will involve one or two journalists to understand and promote the youth volunteering spirit In Euro Med .Preparation of participants: Each partner is expected to prepare and bring - A content of an exhibition about the reality of youth volunteering in his country: During the training will organize an exhibition about youth volunteering in the partner countries. This exhibition that will be accessible to the local people. - A presentation about the policy in terms of youth volunteering in their county, and how young people are involved in local development. - A presentation of good practices about : "The impact of voluntary actions on the communities of the partner countries." - Typical Drinks, food, dance, music of the its country for the intercultural evening. Participation Fee: - 100% of accommodation, food and activities will be covered by the programme. - 70% of your trip will be covered by the programme. - 30% of the travel cost + 20 Euros participation fee will be covered by the participant Who Can Apply?
